The Boathouse fisheries was founded by Cieron & Richard in November 2018.
Both Cieron and Richard who have collectively over 40 years experience as Fishmongers at Griggs of Hythe, The duo decided to begin a new adventure and together they founded The Boathouse Fisheries.
The Boathouse is traditional Fishmongers in the quaint seaside village of St Mary’s bay.
Cieron has a wealth of knowledge when it comes to fish, he knows where to source the best quality and how to prepare it. Cieron's knowledge ensures he is able to provide the very best produce to kitchens across Kent, therefore he is our head of wholesale.
Richard is front and centre of the Boathouse, he creates wonderful displays for our counters using only the freshest quality fish at affordable prices. Richard's speciality is a cheeky but friendly welcome too.
In May 2019 The Boathouse Fisheries welcomed the addition of Head Chef Emma.
Emma runs our Bistro, preparing delicious fish dishes for all the family to eat in or take away.
Our Boathouse ready meals and deli range are prepared by hand daily.
